Blankets & Wine’s Kenyan Summer 2025 brings together some of the biggest names shaping African music. At the forefront are Scorpion Kings, the South African duo behind the continent’s Amapiano wave; Marioo, Tanzania’s smooth hitmaker whose cross-border anthems dominate playlists;
Iyanii, Kenya’s chart-topping Afro-fusion star making his festival debut; Donae’o, the UK Funky House pioneer bringing London’s dance energy to Nairobi; Matata, Kenya’s explosive rap-dance crew; and MiCasa, South Africa’s feel-good trio whose blend of house, jazz, and soul defines modern African groove.
The star power continues with Okello Max, Bridgit Blue, Elsy Wameyo, Ssaru, and Shad Mziki—each adding fresh depth of Kenyan music and personality to a line-up built to thrill.
The Onja Onja Stage pushes the celebration late into the night with Foozak, Tina Ardor, Ms. Mika, Darkfruit, Shishi, and a high-energy back-to-back finale from Aly Fresh, Mura, and Big Nyagz. Together, they complete a festival experience that captures the spirit, creativity, and unstoppable rhythm of today’s Africa.

As Blankets & Wine enters its 17th year, the festival is doubling down on production excellence and user experience.
